I had an exam today. Didn't do to well. <_< Now this may sound like an excuse, but it partly wasn't my fault. This year were in a brand new building, but the bad part is it wasn't done being built when the semester started. We didn't get any computers up and running until 2 month in. So, none of the courses got the supplies they needed to properly teach. We tried to fit a semester in to about half of one, and it just can't be done. Some of the stuff on the exam wasn't even taught to us, so there's not much we can do. :dunno:

Sorry to hear about your exams, drk! But look on the bright side, if you have to redo it, you'll have a better idea of what they want :wince:

Last day at my current job yesterday, was really weird leaving the store, knowing that I won't be working there again. Although I made sure that my loon/mentalist brand shall be remembered for years to come, by doing my 007 thing with the pricing gun, sticking labels on everyione! :P Picked up the TSFP demo, will have a crack at it some time today.
Went out on the town after that with friends, just got back home, and it's just passed 11 am

Ha, I knew I wasn't the only one :lol2:  Sounds like a busy day for KC. What are you going to do now? Oh, and when you pick up that TS3 demo, you mind getting me one? The UK's a little far away for me to get my hands on one ;)

I shall do some extra sniping for you, sound ok? ;)

As for work, I have been trying to get back into the IT business after my last contract expired. The main excuse companies use for not hiring me is that I don't have enough experience.   But if no-one gives you a break to show what you're good for, how are you s'posed to get any?? fgs.. It's a bit like what came first, the chicken or the egg?

Got myself a new toy this morning, my old mp3 player went up the creek, so I invested in that new Sony one (NW- E99). The grin on my face when I ripped open the box can't really be depicted. That thing is smaller than a Zippo lighter! 1 GB of Flash Memory galore! Divided on two chips, it requires 1 AAA battery for up to 70 hours play time.  B) Metallica never sounded this good :D

That's awesome! I'm getting a refurbished mp3 player from work for $79.99. After staff discount, should be rather cheap. I have a question though. With these tiny things, can you plug huge headphones into them? The pair that I'm getting this friday (finally) will be another large pair. Do they take to much power, or does it sound as good as a diskman? I always see people with those tiny bud things in their ears, which I personally can't stand, and I began to wonder. If not, then I don't think I'll be getting it.

Yeah, yesterday was a sucky day: monday, rain all day, had to walk to work cause my bike was at the repair shop, had an appointment with Franks teacher about his performing at school and had to pick up my bike again and pay ?80 ($100) for the repair.
Till now today is just fine.

You can, as long as you have the right jack on the end. Most players these days use the mini ones, but then again, most headphones have the option of both types ;) So I don't see why not.
The quality and clarity of the music depends on both the player and the file itself. A cheap nasty player will sound as good as a cloudy day :P The more expensive players will offer a bit more 'oomph' to it. Battery life varies from player to player, some use ordinary alkaline batteries, others (like my previous one) simply recharges when you plug it to the USB port on your computer. Very handy if you're close to a PC, annoying if you're out walking and the battery runs out unexpectedly.

I for one am a fan of the little ear plugs. The ones I have now are of the closed variety, which fit inside the ear blocking just about all sound out. Perfect for crowdy trains when you just want your own space. :D
I can only imagine that the larger headphones will take a considerable amout of life out of the batteries, you can but try. If you don't like the player, sell it to somewone you don't like and leave the city! :sugar:

Wow, there are really good people out there. As some of you may know, my sister was diagnosed with cancer a while ago. She's now 100% clear, but still has to go for some further radiation to prevent a recurrence. Anyways, she was found by the local Make a Wish foundation, and has just been enrolled in the wish program. Although her cancer is not terminal, she is still eligible for a wish. She herself has been granted $2500 to spend on whatever she pleases, and both myself and my other sister get $500 as well. Plus, they have granted us $2000 to help with gas expenses, and bills (Which are uber tight right now) Without this foundation, we would be ruined right now with how much this all costs. And, not to sound selfish or anything, I couldn't have gotten this money at a better time. I'm going to buy my friend Jax's computer for $600, and this 500 should prove extremely useful. ^_^  I was just so surprised at how amazing these people are. The founding president of the organisation actually visited our house in person to work all this out as well, it was an amazing experience.
