you make a new layer.
fill it with colour
polyagonal lasso tool
cut out part wanted otu of  fill
delete it
 set layer settings for what you wabnt

There is an easier way to get a border you know... Once your ready to save your sig, flatten the image to one layer, then just give that layer a stroke. Make sure to change it to an inside stroke.

thanx drk. yea thats a better way drk ,cause by using the lasso tool, some sides don't turn out the same length as other sides, because it is to hard to predict if they are the same length.

There are some interesting ways to do boders, what i've been doing is add another laye, select all the go to the select dropdown menu there's an option for border, select that then choose how many pixels in you want your border and there you go instant border selected, all you have to do is get a basic brush and colour in, it should leave a nice fade effect on the inside edges.

well when i first got cs2 i was just having fun and playing around with all.......ALL.......of the tools to see what they did lol :sugar:
