Unless he eventually becomes a hobo and curses passers by on the streets because they show no pitty, thus he becomes cynical of the world he lives in.

Not necessarily.  All of the hobos that I've known have been very happy people.

true there are a lot of happy homeless people, outwardly. but inwardly you hafta ask "are they really happy?". or maybe its jsut the crack talking. who knows.

i cant think anyone who has lost everything and is reduced to living like a rat in the sewers could be happy. not in a material society such as ours.

I once met a homeless guy, playing a harmonica in the town centre. I gave him some money and he offered me a cup of tea from his thermos. I ended up talking to him for like an hour about his life. He said he loved his lifestyle, simply because it allowed him to see the true kindness in people.

i talk to a few on occassion. like the Chicken of the Sea guy in Toronto. he plays the bango on Queen street now, he moved cuz of the constructin up Yonge. hes really nice. there used to be this homeless black man by the museum but i havent seen him in monthes. he was super nice too. he knew so many knock knock jokes.

but most of the ones right downtown in the business core are so bitter and cynical. the starbucks one like attacked me once cuz i didnt give him change, now im afraid ot go to that starbucks ahaha.

i wish there was a starbucks in my house
